The Pharmacy New Medicine Service, often called NMS, helps patients who have been prescribed a new medicine for certain long-term conditions. Our pharmacist will arrange a call to talk through how the medicine works, how to take it properly, and any questions or concerns you may have.

What to expect

After your GP prescribes a new eligible medicine, our pharmacy team may invite you to use the NMS service. During the call, the pharmacist will check how you are getting on and make sure you feel confident about your treatment.
